Privacy Policy
Your video stays on your device. This page explains what still needs to be processed to make downloads work.
Scope and operator
This policy covers the free Kick VOD Download browser tool. It is independent of Kick. Public contact details are being prepared; see Contact. This early-access release does not yet offer a public support channel.
The link you submit
When you select Continue, the replay URL is sent to our resolver to find the public playlist. The resolver requests the source page from Kick. The application does not maintain a server-side download-history database. The link is sent in a POST request body rather than in the request URL. Our application does not log that body.
Video and local recovery data
Playlists and video segments are requested directly by your browser from Kick's media delivery service. Video files are not uploaded to or archived on our server. Your browser stores recovery records in IndexedDB: replay and segment URLs, selected times and quality, filename, file handle, progress, timestamps, error messages, verification data and limited segment data needed to resume processing.
File access requires browser permission. The tool writes the MP4 to the location you choose and may read it to verify a resume point. Local recovery records remain until you remove them, clear this site's storage, or your browser removes them. Clicking Remove deletes a recovery record, not the MP4. Clearing storage prevents resuming that download. Remove downloaded files separately using your device.
Hosting and technical information
When hosted on Cloudflare, requests pass through Cloudflare. IP addresses, request URLs, browser headers, timestamps, response codes and diagnostic information may be processed for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Worker logging and sampled tracing are enabled in this project's configuration. Provider records follow the provider's service settings and retention policies; we do not promise zero logging or a specific deletion period for records outside our control.
See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Direct media requests also disclose your connection information to Kick and its delivery providers, under their policies. Processing may take place outside your country.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The application does not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or marketing cookies. IndexedDB is used for download recovery, not advertising. Hosting security features may use necessary cookies depending on deployment settings. We do not sell the information processed by this tool or use it for targeted advertising.
Purposes and your choices
Information is used to provide the requested download, remember local recovery state, protect the service and diagnose failures. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, processing necessary to provide the requested service relies on that necessity, and proportionate security and diagnostic processing relies on legitimate interests. Browser permissions remain under your control.
You may remove local records, revoke site file permissions, or clear site storage in your browser. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal data, object to processing, request portability, and complain to a relevant data protection authority. These rights can have exceptions. The operator cannot remotely retrieve or delete files and records stored only on your device.
Contact and changes
Use the contact page for privacy requests once public contact details are confirmed. If you contact us, the information you choose to send is used to respond and handle the request, retained only as necessary for that purpose or legal obligations. Do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary personal documents. This policy will be updated when the service or its data practices change.
